Groupe Zebra joins the Go To Smart Factory consortium on Campus Région du Numérique

Groupe Zebra and its partners are launching on the task of supporting the digital transformation of companies. The consortium offers complementary solutions and services to inform manufacturers about the path to follow and advise them right through to the implementation phases.

A new collaborative project at the service of digital transformation

On the Campus Région du Numérique in Charbonnières-les-Bains (69), Groupe Zebra and its 6 partners (Braincube, Cetim, Ecoles des Mines de Saint-Etienne, Fealinx, Siemens and Chamatex) have set up the Go To Smart Factory consortium. The ambition of these companies is to support corporations in the implementation of their digital transformation projects, but also to encourage relocation in France by enabling manufacturers to be more competitive and meet the major challenges of their markets.

Inaugurated on Thursday 25 February by Laurent Wauquiez, the President of the Region, the Campus will welcome nearly 2,000 students and brings together schools, companies, industrialists and researchers on the same site.

The expertise of the consortium members

Go to smart factory brings complementary skills to the consortium such as training, consulting, simulation and financing.

An echo to the ASF 4.0 factory

This project echoes a concrete example of digitisation and relocation: the ASF 4.0 pilot factory, which brings together Chamatex Group, Groupe Zebra, Babolat, Salomon, Millet and Siemens.
This ambitious factory aims to automate and relocate the production of sports shoes in France thanks to the creation of a 4.0 factory integrating numerous technologies such as augmented reality, digital twin, autonomous robots, piloted by advanced supervision managing the manufacturing order and production performance.

Upcoming training courses

The “Digital Experience Days” training course, on the Campus Région du Numérique, will enable companies to discover the proposed approach and look at new technologies as a tool for transformation.
On 3 and 4 March as well as on 30 and 31 March, participants will be able to familiarise themselves with the tools for driving business transformation and take part in workshops led by 8 experts. This training course is aimed at all those who wish to learn how to build and manage a digital transformation master plan.
